Following the surprising announcement by the “Anti-Hero” singer that her Eras Tour concert would be transformed into a cinematic experience, fans inundated the AMC app in their quest for tickets, resulting in a site outage. According to Collider, the app conveyed a message, informing users that online reservations were temporarily unavailable due to the tremendous surge in traffic.

It recommended that those interested in purchasing tickets should visit their local AMC Theatre in person.

AMC has released a statement acknowledging the phenomenon. Those eager to secure their tickets online may encounter delays, longer-than-usual wait times in the virtual ticket-purchase waiting room, and potential service interruptions. AMC is fully committed to addressing any such delays or interruptions as swiftly as possible, the company assured.
