Travis Barker has made an unexpected departure from his touring commitments with Blink-182, as announced by the band on Friday.
The band’s official X (formerly known as Twitter) account stated, “Due to an urgent family matter, Travis has had to return to the United States.” They also mentioned that the shows scheduled for Glasgow, Belfast, and Dublin will be postponed. Further details regarding Travis Barker’s return to Europe and the rescheduled dates will be provided as soon as they become available.
Notably, the Blink-182 drummer is currently anticipating the arrival of his first child with his wife, Kourtney Kardashian. Both Travis Barker and Kourtney have children from their previous relationships.
During one of the Los Angeles tour stops in June, Kardashian surprised Travis Barker by displaying a sign in the crowd, announcing her pregnancy in bold capital letters: “Travis, I’m pregnant.” She enthusiastically jumped and expressed her joy, which they later shared on their Instagram accounts.
On Father’s Day, Kourtney celebrated her pregnancy with a series of photos showcasing her growing baby bump. Among these photos, one captured a touching moment where Kourtney sat on Travis’s lap, and they exchanged affectionate glances. In another, Travis tenderly kissed her belly.
Kardashian expressed her gratitude and happiness, writing in the photo caption, “Overwhelmed with gratitude and joy for God’s blessing and plan.”
The couple tied the knot in 2022 during a picturesque Italian ceremony in Portofino, Italy, adorned in Dolce & Gabbana attire. Travis proposed in October 2021, eight months after they made their relationship public on Instagram shortly after Valentine’s Day.
Their Italian wedding followed a separate ceremony in Las Vegas, which took place after Travis’s performance at the 2022 Grammys.
Kourtney Kardashian has three children from her previous relationship with Scott Disick: Mason, 13; Penelope, 11; and Reign, 8.
