Travis Barker has returned to his role as the drummer for Blink-182. The band made their live comeback on Friday after a brief hiatus. Travis, who is 47 years old, had temporarily left the U.K. leg of their tour last week to support his pregnant wife, Kourtney Kardashian, who is 44 years old, during an emergency surgery.
The group had to postpone three shows in Glasgow, Belfast, and Dublin, citing an “urgent family matter” related to Travis Barker at that time. However, they were able to make their triumphant return to the stage in Antwerp, Belgium.
Travis Barker excitedly shared a video on Instagram with the caption, “1st day of tour 🥁🥳.” In the video, he can be seen approaching the venue and graciously giving his drumsticks to a fan, who became emotional upon meeting the renowned musician.
Additionally, Travis posted several photos from their time in Belgium on his Instagram Stories, taking his followers on a virtual tour of a beautiful church.
That night, the band rocked the stage in Antwerp, delivering their beloved hits to an enthusiastic audience. Fans captured the moment and shared videos, with one video showing the crowd singing along to “I Miss You” on X, which was formerly known as Twitter.
A few days prior to the concert, Travis reassured fans that Blink-182 would resume their European tour dates with a heartfelt message on X. He expressed gratitude for the support he received, as well as relief for his wife’s successful emergency surgery during a pregnancy complication.
Kourtney, the founder of Lemme, also shared her perspective on the situation, revealing that she had undergone “urgent fetal surgery.” She expressed her gratitude to her remarkable medical team for saving their baby’s life in an Instagram post. Alongside a touching black and white photo of her hand holding her husband’s while wearing a medical bracelet, she conveyed her appreciation for the support received.
